Manager: Zlatko Dalic

Manager Profile

Croatia appointed Zlatko Dalic, a successful club coach in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as manager in October 2017 and less than a year later they reached the World Cup final, losing 4-2 to France. Dalic's men again rose to the occasion at the 2022 World Cup, knocking out Brazil on their way to the semi-finals, and they were runners-up to Spain at last summer's Nations League Finals.

Scouting Report

Midfielder Mateo Kovacic is not a regular goalscorer for club or country but he has been getting into some promising shooting positions at this tournament. He had three shots in 65 minutes against Spain and three more attempts against Albania and half of those six efforts at goal were on target.
