Didier Deschamps has admitted that Kylian Mbappe was not quite at his peak in the quarter-final penalty-shootout win over Portugal but has downplayed concerns over his star player's fitness ahead of Tuesday's semi-final. "It was nothing, there's no point in him staying on the pitch with a bad feeling," the France boss said. Netherlands defender Ian Maatsen has returned to training with the rest of Ronald Koeman's squad. The left-back, who is still to make his senior debut for the national team, missed Saturday's 2-1 quarter-final win over Turkey due to illness but was able to play a full part in Sunday's recovery session at the team's training base and will be available for Wednesday's semi-final against England.

Ousmane Dembele is poised to replace Griezmann in the starting line-up following his lively performance from off the bench against Portugal.
